KBR is seeking a highly motivated, junior Software Engineer with DevSecOps experience and background to be a part of the team that supports the Department of the Air Force advanced air platform testing and rapid development. This is an entrylevel role ideal for someone with a strong interest in security, automation, and cloud technologies who wants to grow into a full DevSecOps career path.

Work Environment:

  • Location: On-site
  • Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%
  • Working Hours: Standard/Flexible (3 days in office)

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 1 to 3 years of programming and DevSecOps experience
  • Active DoD Secret clearance
  • Experience with CI/CD systems, integration, and security: (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms: (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Exposure to containerization: (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Gitlab security features and/or container security

Desired:

  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • Excellent interpersonal and intrateam communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Flight Simulation and/or Aerospace Engineering background
