Our FTID (Forensics, Technology, Investigations & Discovery) practice is rapidly growing, and we are seeking aSenior Associatewho can demonstrate a thorough level of knowledge and/or a proven record of success as an individual contributor or team leader involving fraud risk, fraud prevention and detection, and/or data analytics, preferably within a global network of professional services firms in the following areas:

  • Leveraging thorough knowledge of SQL, Python or R, data science skills, supervised and unsupervised machine learning, and social network analysis;
  • Demonstrating considerable experience with big data tools such as Hadoop and PySpark, cloud computing, and cloud machine learning tools;
  • Knowledge of the anti-fraud business domain in the e-commerce, payments, healthcare, and banking industries;
  • Demonstrating considerable ability to develop fraud detection rules and/or models deployed in systems such as Actimize, FICO Falcon, SAS Fraud Management, or other platforms;
  • Leveraging considerable experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Spotfire, or QlikView; and
  • Evaluating new tools and products that enhance risk detection and prevention.

The ideal candidate will also demonstrate a thorough level of ability with, and/or a proven record of success in, identifying and addressing client needs by:

  • Applying considerable knowledge of the subject matter to the development and prioritization of anti-fraud strategies, analytics, models, and operations;
  • Managing engagement teams and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, cross-functional, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment;
  • Communicating with business, risk, compliance, operations, technology, and analytics stakeholders on client engagements;
  • Fostering positive working relationships with clients and working effectively with client management and staff at all levels to gather information and perform services;
  • Using presentation materials to convey complex ideas to clients and internal staff;
  • Managing engagements, including preparing concise and accurate documents and maintaining project economics while remaining flexible for unanticipated issues;
  • Providing candid, meaningful feedback in a timely manner; and
  • Keeping leadership informed of progress and issues, answering questions, and providing direction to more junior staff.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Engineering, Accounting, Computer and Information Science, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Processing/Analytics/Science; and
  • Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience working in regulatory investigations, internal investigations, and compliance remediation work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Database and programming certifications such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Azure Fundamentals, Certified Associate in Python Programming, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, Sun Certified Java Programmer, Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure AI Engineer Associate; CPA; and/or PMI. Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) is a plus.

Depending on qualifications and experience, job title may be Senior Associate or Consultant.

Candidate must be able to submit verification of his/her legal right to work in the U.S., without company sponsorship.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $150,000 per year
