Role Overview
We are seeking a Junior Developer to provide implementation solutions for various software applications. This role involves working with business lines and architects to develop, enhance, test, and maintain software. The position requires participation in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including analysis, technical design, development, testing, and deployment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, enhance, test, support, maintain, and debug software applications.
  • Create prototypes to validate design concepts.
  • Prepare UML diagrams to describe application states.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of technological alternatives and business requirements to recommend innovations.
  • Collaborate with external programming teams to deliver software within established timelines and budgets.
  • Provide technical guidance to project managers on critical issues.
  • Handle multiple tasks and adapt to a changing environment to meet release deliverables.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
  • Over 3 years of hands-on experience developing large-scale, high-volume, distributed enterprise applications using Java/J2EE.
  • Experience with RESTful Services using Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and SOAP Webservices.
  • Experience with Apache Kafka for online data publishing and consuming.
  • Experience with Junit test case development, performance testing, and code analysis.
  • Experience with relational databases such as Oracle SQL/PLSQL and NoSQL databases like Cassandra.
  • Proficiency with development tools including Eclipse/IntelliJ, Maven, Git, Bitbucket, CI/CD pipelines, Splunk, and SOAP UI.
  • Experience in building high-volume, scalable, and available distributed technologies.
  • Knowledge of standard development design patterns (Creational, Behavioral, JEE).
  • Experience with Agile and SDLC development models.
  • Experience in solving application performance issues such as memory leaks, high CPU usage, and thread locks.

  • Tertiary Skill: MS SQL Server

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in security best practices and ensuring the security of cloud-based applications.
