The Full Stack Senior Developer with Java and Angular skills will primarily be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the Digital Banking Platform middleware and ancillary supporting applications. These duties include designing, developing, and maintaining the Digital Banking Platform’s RESTful APIs, middleware, databases, and web-based support applications.

We're looking for engineers who bring fresh ideas from all areas, including API design, information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, data storage, security, artificial intelligence, UI design; the list goes on and is growing. As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to BOK Financials needs. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full stack as we continue to push technology forward.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop scalable JSON RESTful APIs for the Digital Banking Platform.
  • Develop front-end tools and applications to support the platform using modern responsive web application technology and techniques.
  • Write and test high-quality code that empowers the Digital Banking platform.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to other engineers to maintain code quality and promote best practices.
  • Manage individual project priorities, use available resources to get unblocked, and complete tasks on schedule by exercising strong judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Participate in the entire software development life cycle from requirements to production deployments.
  • Provide technical requirements/specifications, estimates, and system designs.
  • Provide application support by diagnosing and remediating problems, performing root cause analysis, developing and maintaining application documentation, tracking and remediating metrics and trends of application performance.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:

  • 10 years of software development in one or more object-oriented programming languages (Java, C#, etc.).
  • 10 years developing RESTful API and microservices.
  • 10 years working with git (GitHub, GitLab, etc.)
  • 3 years of front-end development using TypeScript/JavaScript, Angular 14, Angular Material, Jasmine, Karma, ESLint, HTML, and CSS/SCSS or similar tools.
  • 3 years of experience in software system architecture.
  • Strong Experience with Spring IoC container and Spring Boot Microservices.
  • Experience with Tomcat or similar application server and integration with Spring Security.
  • 3 years working with relational databases, stored procedures, and functions using MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
  • Strong understanding of N-Tiered software architecture.
  • Strong understanding of OOP and GOF Design Patterns.
  • Cloud-based development with Kubernetes and Docker preferably in AWS.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and automated deploys
  • Experience with API gateways (e.g. Kong, Apigee, etc)
  • Familiar with authentication protocols (OAuth, OIDC, SAML, etc.)
  • Experience with Okta as an identity and access management service.
  • Strong understanding of Scrum and Kanban Agile development
