About the Role

JARS Cannabis is seeking a dynamic Graphic Designer with experience in physical and digital visual design to join our growing team. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for supporting the execution of a variety of design deliverables for our brand, including but not limited to web, email, social media, print, and advertising. In this position, you will work with cross-functional partners to help build one of the strongest national footprints within the cannabis industry.

Job Duties

• Support the design and production of interactive online content, including banner ads, CRM graphics, email templates, social media, and promotional artwork

• Collaborate with the e-commerce and marketing teams to ensure all designs align with the brand image

• Produce thumbnail layout designs with photo and type integration with a strong eye for hierarchy and typography

• Support the creative team to ensure consistency in designs and content is maintained across all company platforms

• Review product positioning and online marketing content alongside the creative team to identify opportunities for improvement

• Work with other graphic designers on the aesthetic for campaigns, projects, and promotional events

• Support the marketing team with retail activations, brand partnership campaigns, and events


Desired Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of professional graphic design experience

• Portfolio demonstrating experience in commercial marketing and design

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects; Premiere and Adobe XD knowledge is a plus

• Experience designing for both print and digital channels

• Knowledge or understanding of social content strategy

• Detail-oriented with strong knowledge of typography, color, hierarchy, and balance

• Understanding of production design standards and building files to spec

• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to explain the rationale behind design decisions to key stakeholders

• Personal or professional experience with cannabis is not required; however, a passion to learn and professionally progress in the industry is appreciated
