Job description

Jr. Graphic Designer

Optimum Human + Southwest Women's Oncology | Albuquerque, New Mexico

Why This Role Matters

Every piece of content we put in front of a patient, a provider, or a partner says something about who we are. Across seven entities - each with its own brand identity, audience, and purpose - visual consistency is a priority. A brand that looks polished and deliberate earns a different level of credibility than one that doesn't.

The Jr. Graphic Designer is the creative production engine behind the Optimum Growth Agency. This role is responsible for bringing brand standards to life across every format - digital, print, social, event, and beyond - ensuring the Optimum platform always looks as good as it performs.

This is a high-output, high-ownership role for someone who takes quality seriously, works efficiently within established systems, and is energized by the opportunity to grow their craft inside a fast-moving organization. We hire for attitude and aptitude above all else. Credentials matter, but who you are and how you grow matter more.

Who We Are

Southwest Women's Oncology (SWWO) is New Mexico's leading gynecologic oncology practice, delivering advanced cancer care with skill, courage, and compassion.

Optimum Human and Optimum Infusion extend that mission into performance medicine, infusion services, longevity, recovery, hormone optimization, medical weight loss, peptide therapies, hyperbaric medicine, aesthetics, and human performance.

Together, we operate as a single integrated platform committed to one mission:

To deliver new possibilities in medical care, human performance, and health by uniting passion, knowledge, and precision into something greater than the sum of its parts.

The Opportunity

The Jr. Graphic Designer will support creative production across the Optimum Growth Agency, working within established brand systems to produce assets for digital campaigns, social media, print, events, patient education, and provider communications.

You will touch every channel, every entity, and every audience the Optimum platform serves-producing work that is on-brand, on-deadline, and built to a professional standard every time. You will work closely with:

  • The Growth Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Manager on digital campaign assets, landing page graphics, and email templates
  • The Social Media & Content Coordinator on social graphics, Reels templates, and visual content frameworks
  • The Events Coordinator on event signage, printed materials, and sponsor recognition assets
  • The Provider Development team on sales collateral, leave-behinds, and provider education materials

Every asset you produce is a representation of Optimum in the world. The standard is high-and you will own it.

What You'll Own

Digital Asset Production

  • Design digital assets for paid and organic campaigns across all seven entities-including display ads, social graphics, email headers, and landing page visuals.
  • Produce social media graphics and Reels/Shorts templates that align to each brand's visual identity and platform best practices.
  • Maintain a library of reusable digital templates that accelerates output while preserving brand consistency.

Print & Collateral Production

  • Design and produce print materials including brochures, flyers, provider leave-behinds, referral pads, and event programs.
  • Coordinate with print vendors on specifications, proofing, and production timelines.
  • Ensure all print materials adhere to brand standards and are produced at professional quality.

Event & Environmental Design

  • Design event signage, banners, trade show materials, table displays, and environmental graphics for provider events, CME programs, and community outreach.
  • Produce sponsor recognition assets and event collateral that reflect the Optimum standard.

Brand Consistency & Management

  • Operate within established brand guidelines for all seven entities, ensuring visual consistency across every format and channel.
  • Flag brand inconsistencies observed in existing materials and propose corrections through the appropriate channels.
  • Contribute to brand guideline documentation as new templates and asset systems are developed.

Creative Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the marketing team on creative briefs, concept reviews, and iterative feedback cycles.
  • Contribute creative ideas to campaign planning, social strategy, and event design conversations.
  • Use AI design tools to accelerate concepting, asset variation, and production workflows.

What Success Looks Like

First 90 Days

  • Full orientation to brand guidelines, active templates, and design asset libraries across all seven entities completed.
  • Actively producing assets for at least two entities with consistent quality and on-time delivery.
  • Strong working relationships developed with the marketing team and key stakeholders.

First 6 Months

  • Full creative production load running smoothly across digital, social, and print channels.
  • Measurable improvement in brand consistency and asset quality across all entities.
  • Template library built and in active use, reducing production time on repeatable asset types.

First Year

  • Recognized as a reliable, high-output creative resource for the Optimum Growth Agency.
  • Demonstrated growth in design scope, project complexity, and strategic contribution.
  • Consistently embodying the Optimum Standard.

Who Thrives Here

We want people who bring relentless positivity, a hunger to learn, and the drive to elevate everyone around them. You will likely thrive if:

  • You take ownership rather than waiting for direction.
  • You believe details matter.
  • You enjoy solving problems and seek continuous improvement.
  • You care deeply about patients and their families.
  • You value teamwork and accountability equally.
  • You're coachable, curious, and committed to mastery.

What You Bring

Required

  • 1–3 years of graphic design experience, with a portfolio demonstrating proficiency across digital and print formats.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite-Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign at minimum.
  • Experience producing assets for social media, including platform-specific sizing, format requirements, and visual best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously without sacrificing quality.
  • Comfortable receiving and incorporating iterative feedback quickly and professionally.
  • Familiarity with AI design tools for concepting, asset variation, and production acceleration.

Preferred

  • Experience in healthcare, wellness, or multi-brand marketing environments.
  • Familiarity with print production workflows including vendor coordination, proofing, and pre-press preparation.
  • Experience designing event materials including signage, banners, and environmental graphics.
  • Motion graphics or basic video editing capability (After Effects, Premiere, or similar).

Our Culture

We act with courage and embrace accountability.

We serve with precision and hold ourselves to impeccable standards-then raise them.

We reject mediocrity and the comfort of "good enough."

We measure success not only by outcomes, but by the integrity, excellence, and humanity we bring to every interaction.

Way Better. Extraordinary by Design.

If you crave mastery, meaning, and measurable impact - welcome home.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary
  • Health benefits
  • 401(k)
  • Paid time off
  • Professional development and continuing education support
  • Opportunity to grow within the Optimum Platform
