Job Description

AECOM is seeking a creative, highly talented Senior Air Quality Project Manager for immediate employment at our Conshohocken, PA, Raleigh, NC or Chelmsford, MA offices. This position is part of our air permitting and compliance group.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with clients to develop strategies that will aid the client in maintaining compliance and operational flexibility while meeting client’s expectations related to scope, budget, schedule and quality
  • Compliance auditing
  • Preparation of air permit application packages
  • Air permitting strategy development
  • Air regulatory review and compliance
  • Preparation of air emission inventories
  • Responsible for the development and mentoring of junior and mid-level staff members; this will be accomplished with an active role in supporting general technical growth by providing constructive oversight and challenging tasks
  • Prepare proposals and cost estimates
  • Must have strong oral presentation skills, strong written communication skills, and strong math and computer skills
  • Ability to work well in teams.
    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in environmental, civil or chemical engineering, biology, geology or natural sciences or similar field + 6 Years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education
    • 6 years of air quality permitting and regulatory compliance experience
    • Valid Driver’s License and as a condition of employment must be able to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review.
    • Due to the nature of work, US citizenship required.
    • Air permitting experience.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Business develop experience including proposal development
    • Experience with Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey air permitting programs
    • Experience interpreting and implementing State and Federal regulations
    • Ability to manage and mentor junior staff
    • 8+ years of air quality permitting and regulatory compliance experience
