Job description

We are looking for a Junior HR Generalist to join our growing Human Resources team and support both our firm and its growing portfolio of companies. This individual will report to the Sr. Manager of HR and will provide organizational support on an ongoing basis, managing not only big ideas and projects but small tasks as well.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Work closely with the company's executive team to plan and execute new HR initiatives regarding to organizational development, workforce strategy and change management
  • Collect and analyze employee data in order to make organizational changes
  • Provide expertise in regard to company policies, benefits, and employee handbook
  • Ensure a smooth on-boarding experience for new hires
  • Research and resolve employee relations inquiries and issues in a timely manner
  • Maintain and update current personnel files
  • Conduct employee exit interviews, required trainings, and new-hire orientations
  • Assist in documentation and investigation of employee concerns and performance management issues

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in the field of Human Resources
  • Experience in a multi-site, global environment is highly desirable
  • Strong HRIS familiarity (Workday, Namely, etc.)
  • General HR expertise and experience in the areas of employee/labor relations, compensation, benefits, and training/development
  • Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local employment and labor laws
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and discretion regarding employee information/data
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
