Role: Mainframe Developer

Location: Omaha, NE (Onsite - 5 days a week)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer with strong experience in COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, and VSAM to support the development, enhancement, maintenance, and production support of enterprise mainframe applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in both online and batch JCL, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and a strong focus on delivering high-quality, zero-defect solutions. This role also requires the ability to conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and work effectively in an Agile environment. The candidate is expected to work onsite in UPC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications usingCOBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, and VSAM.

  • Work extensively on bothonline and batch processing systems.

  • Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective solutions.

The base salary for this position is $ 65,000 to $71,000 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays and paid learning days.
