Sr. EDI Developer
Remote

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Perform solution-level technical analysis, design and build EDI integrations, and actively participate in testing and defect resolution.
  • Leads day-to-day technical execution of integration and API projects
  • Translates solution designs and architecture guidance into working implementations
  • Ensures code quality, consistency, and adherence to standards
  • Learn and adopt new technologies, tools, and frameworks, applying them effectively to delivery needs.
  • Work independently with globally distributed teams, providing day-to-day technical leadership, mentoring junior team members, conducting code reviews, and ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Act as the primary technical escalation point for the development team, helping unblock issues, troubleshoot complex defects, and maintain delivery momentum.
Skills and experience
  • 8-10 years of hands-on experience on IBM Sterling Integrator version 5.2.6 or above.
  • Knowledge and experience in developing, maintaining, supporting, and monitoring of EDI IBM Sterling integrator.
  • Good Knowledge and hands on experience in business process development.
  • Extensive exposure on map development (X12, EDIFACT, XML, cXML, CSV, Flat files, JSON).
  • Good understanding of communication protocols like FTP, SFTP, AS2, VAN.
  • Good experience with various file formats like ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, cXML, CSV,JSON, Flat files.
  • Proficiency in DB2+SQL, XML, XSLT, Web services, APIs, FTP/SFTP.
  • Manages all aspects of implementation planning & coordination
  • Ability to provide and implement technical solutions to a wide range of problems.
  • Strong understanding of core architectural concepts for EDI implementations, including:
o Encryption and security fundamentals
o Authentication and authorization
o Logging and monitoring
o Throttling and traffic management
o Scalability, clustering, and availability concepts
  • Should be willing to learn new technologies and collaborate with team.
  • Should be self-starter and Independent learner.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
