WRA is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our Design Application group in our Baltimore office to provide support to architectural and engineering professionals. The applicant will be responsible for the design and development of enterprise level applications and should be versed in various coding languages for web, mobile, and software applications. The applicant also will be responsible for SQL Database design, analysis, and administration. The applicant should be able to design and develop applications with an emphasis on performance, scalability, robustness, and vitality over time. The applicant will need to formally document applications along with operation and maintenance procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
  • 5+ years of experience in developing data driven applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Entity Framework
  • Experience in working with a team of developers to produce production level applications
  • Experience in researching, planning, estimating, and designing applications to meet business needs, including customizations and integration components
  • Experience in developing design and code solutions using best practices and common patterns, including databases, component layers, user interfaces, and web services
  • Experience in coding standards and best practices
  • Experience in the design of web application architecture
  • Possess a strong understanding of security and data protection implementation
  • Experience in troubleshooting and providing customers with knowledgeable "how to" assistance through a thorough understanding of applications and the supported business processes
  • Self‑directed and motivated to see and find efficient and cost‑effective opportunities for change
  • Ability to supervise, guide, and mentor junior staff, fostering professional growth and team development
  • Ability to manage mission critical or highly available platforms and applications
  • Unit/Integration testing techniques
  • Experience working with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements
  • Experience with test driven development, and agile engineering practices including continuous integration
  • Experience with relational databases; SQL Server
  • Experience with Agile process and working as part of a distributed team
  • Ability to write and maintain clear, secure, and scalable code
  • Working knowledge of using a distributed version control system within a team environment (i.e., Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps)
  • Must have excellent communication, customer service, organizational, writing, and problem‑solving skills, and be a team player
  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time
  • Must be a US Citizen

Applicants with the following experience will be considered favorably:

  • Content management system experience
  • Experience with cloud message APIs and usages of push notifications.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, WCAG compliance, REST API design and development
  • Web Server administration
  • Experience with SharePoint development and maintenance
  • Understanding and experience with security fundamentals, role‑based security, and familiarity using encryption keys and controls
  • Experience creating web application wireframes and mockups. Good understanding of user experience (UX/UI) concepts and their application in developing an appealing user interface
  • SPA frameworks – Angular, React, Vu
