Job description

We are seeking an engineering expert and an execution-focused senior full-stack software engineer to accelerate our AI & Innovation efforts within the Digital Technologies group in Wealth & Asset Management Technology area. This role will be responsible for implementation of high-impact AI use cases, accelerating adoption of platforms like Copilot Studio, Autonomous Agents, ensuring intelligent automation across the enterprise.

You will work with a team of experts to bring AI solutions from concept to production, ensuring alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements, and enterprise architecture standards.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain end to end application stack which includes frontend, backend and cloud infrastructure for the application.

  • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the design of the new features and systems.

  • Contribute to the team by conducting code reviews to ensure the code quality and follow industry norms.

  • Debug and resolve technical issues and bugs with the multi-functional teams.

  • Understanding of standard methodologies for securing systems, including authentication, authorization, data encryption, and protection against common security threats.

  • Maintain and ensure high quality software by writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to industry standards and coding standards, with accountability for production reliability and usage

  • Agile team experience where responsibilities include the planning and delivery of user stories in an Agile SCRUM environment

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, Software Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a full stack software development.

  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience leading a team of Software Engineers.

  • Proficiency in Python, Angular, Node.js/React, Azure DB, JavaScript, AKS & Azure cloud services, MongoDB etc.

  • Experience with DevOps, RESTful API design and development.

  • Experience working with GenAI technologies, LLMs, Agentic solutions. Familiarity with GitHub Copilot Studio, GitHub Co-pilot and similar solutions.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline and tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.

  • Version control, performance optimization and coding standard processes

  • Need to have production support during non-office hours

  • Collaborative attitude, willingness to work with team members; able to coach, participate in code reviews, share skills and methods

  • Experiments with emerging technologies and understanding how they will impact what comes next.

Salary range is expected to be between

$113,000.00 CAD - $163,000.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
