Vantor has an immediate opportunity for a Full Stack Developer to join a team building and maintaining multiple solutions leveraging custom web services with real time information and a visualization front-end. This would include working with a development team to outline, build and maintain an operational front-end focused on information and knowledge sharing as well as back-end services for managing data in real-time.

Responsibilities:

  • Participating in the design, maintenance, enhancement, and coding of web pages and any associated backend requirements leveraging modern frameworks

  • Recommending and implementing approved process and tool improvement based on user feedback or analysis of user interaction

  • Assisting in the ingest of geospatial data including imagery, maps, charts, GIS feature data, and integrated GIS data to the front- and back-end

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field (4 additional years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree. A Master's degree may count as an additional 2 years of experience.).

  • 5 years demonstrated experience with programming, design, and development.

  • Demonstrated experience with Object-Oriented Design and Programming using C++, Java, or similar programming language

  • Experience with JavaScript and modern web-frameworks

  • Agile Development experience

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of the entire software development lifecycle

  • Must be willing to work on-site in the Colorado Springs office 5 days a week.

Desired:

  • Current TS/SCI Clearance

  • Experience with front-end development using Vue, Angular, or similar JS framework

  • Experience using Node.js

  • Working knowledge of containerization (Docker, Podman)

  • Experience with ORM software (Prisma, SQLAlchemy, etc)

  • Experience with Cesium

  • Understanding of TCP/IP networking and working knowledge of remote system workflows (SSH, port forwarding, server/client architecture, etc)

  • Working knowledge of software development tools, such as Jira, Confluence, BitBucket

  • Experience profiling for performance improvements to an existing codebase

  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.

Starting pay for this role will fall within the listed range and will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, and market conditions. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements for the role should not expect to receive compensation at the top of the range. The listed range reflects the expected pay for this position, and final offers will be determined based on each candidate's experience, expertise, and alignment with the role.

The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $105,000.00 - $140,000.00 - $154,000.00 annually.

For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
