Position Description:The Junior SDET will support test automation development, execution, and maintenance activities under the guidance of the Lead SDET. Your Future Duties and Responsibilities:The Junior SDET will support test automation development, execution, and maintenance activities under the guidance of the Lead SDET. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Selenium . Execute automated and manual test cases for functional and regression testing. Assist in migration of existing Selenium scripts to Playwright (TypeScript). Use GitHub Copilot to accelerate script development and maintenance . Perform basic log analysis using tools such as Splunk and AWS Log Insights . Support test data preparation and environment validation. Execute test suites and report defects with proper documentation. Collaborate with developers and QA team members to resolve issues . Contribute to continuous improvement of automation coverage
Required Qualifications to Be Successful in This Role:. 2+ years of relevant experience. Working knowledge of Playwright or Selenium. Basic programming skills (JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python). Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or similar tools (preferred exposure). Understanding of software testing concepts and SDLC . Basic knowledge of log analysis tools (Splunk, AWS logs) Desired Skillset: Exposure to API testingFamiliarity with CI/CD toolsBasic understanding of cloud environments (AWS preferred) Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
