Position Description:
Step into a pivotal role as a Front-end Full Stack Developer on a high-performing Agile team supporting the modernization and sustainment of mission-critical supervisory systems for a federal agency. You'll design and build intuitive, accessible, and secure web applications that drive real-world impact for thousands of users nationwide. This position offers the opportunity to work with modern frameworks, cloud platforms, and DevSecOps practices, collaborating with talented developers, designers, and engineers. This position is located in our Lafayette, Louisiana or Knoxville, TN office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
. Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
. Implement and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services (.NET Core, Node.js)
. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver user-centric, accessible interfaces (Section 508 compliance)
. Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and contribute to backlog refinement
. Conduct code reviews, implement automated testing, and ensure secure coding practices
. Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full stack (front-end, back-end, database)
. Support CI/CD pipeline deployments using Azure DevOps and Git
. Document technical solutions, workflows, and user guides
. Engage in continuous learning and skill development through mentorship, training, and peer collaboration
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
. 0-5 years of professional experience in front-end and full stack web development
. Proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, SQL Server/Sybase, and database integration
. Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps)
. Understanding of Agile methodologies and participation in Agile teams
. Knowledge of secure coding practices and automated testing frameworks (Selenium, NUnit)
. Strong written and verbal communication skills
. Eligibility for federal background investigation and compliance with security requirements (U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency with 3+ years residency)
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
Experience with .NET Core or Node.js for backend development
Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility standards and inclusive design
Exposure to DevSecOps practices and tools (SonarQube, Qualys, PowerShell)

To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $52,200.00 - $123,800.00.
