As a Senior Full-Stack Developer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), you'll be shaping a collaboration software platform based on the popular, open-source Drupal Content Management System and other open-source software products.
  • You'll support multiple deployments of this system, each providing important capabilities for a broad array of missions.
  • You'll be able to engage directly with the user community and customer leadership to learn how the system impacts them, capture and validate requirements, influence architecture and design decisions, and demonstrate new features.

Experience and Qualifications:
To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
Required Education and Years of Experience:
  • 18 Years of experience in Software or Systems Engineering roles or a highly related field of work with similar scope and responsibilities.
  • A Bachelor's degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience and a Master's Degree may be substituted for 6 years of experience.

Required Qualifications:
  • TS/SCI with an active CI Polygraph
  • Experience leading a software development team
  • Experience with frontend development using JavaScript and/or TypeScript
  • Proficiency in building secure, reliable web applications on Linux servers
  • Experience with relational database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL)
  • Knowledge of, and experience with, Git workflows, continuous integration, and DevOps practices

Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience leading Agile / Scrum teams
  • Experience developing PHP-based web applications
  • Experience with frontend frameworks such as Vue, Angular, React, etc.
  • Experience working with NoSQL or document-based databases (e.g., Elasticsearch)
  • Knowledge of web accessibility and user experience design
  • Experience applying Site Reliability Engineering practices
  • Strong technical documentation and presentation skills

Telework/Remote Availability: Hybrid work authorized (minimum 2-3 days onsite)

Summary Pay Range:
