This role operates at the intersection of frontend engineering, backend services, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and applied AI development. The Sr. Full Stack Software Engineer partners closely with product managers, security specialists, DevOps engineers, and other cross-functional team members to deliver reliable, observable, and secure end-to-end solutions supporting complex cybersecurity workflows, intelligent automation, and AI-assisted user experiences.
The role also includes contributing to AI-powered product features leveraging large language models (LLMs), semantic search, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector indexing, and contextual retrieval technologies. The engineer will help design and implement services and pipelines supporting document ingestion, embeddings, intelligent search, and AI-driven workflows integrated into customer-facing applications.
You will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain data ingestion, indexing, embedding, and retrieval pipelines to support AI-driven search and contextual experiences
  • Develop Python-based services and workflows for AI orchestration, document processing, data transformation, and automation
  • Integrate third-party and cloud-based AI services (e.g., Azure OpenAI, vector databases, embedding services) into customer-facing applications
  • Model and manage relational database schemas and entity relationships to support product requirements
  • Leverage Azure cloud services to deploy and operate full stack applications with a focus on reliability, performance, security, and scalability
  • Apply secure coding practices across the stack, addressing common web and API vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10)
  • Contribute to and follow CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) for building, test, and deployment of frontend and backend components
  • Participate in code reviews and design discussions, ensuring quality, maintainability, and alignment with architectural standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the stack, focusing on root cause analysis and long-term improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical designs and implementations

Core Responsibilities:
  • Frontend:
    • Implement UI components, pages, and workflows using Vue.js (Options or Composition API)
    • Manage client-side state and routing (Vue Router) for complex single-page applications
