You will collaborate closely with designers, back-end engineers, product owners, and mission stakeholders to deliver intuitive, secure, and reliable user experiences that meet evolving customer and program needs. Drawing on deep technical expertise and strong problem-solving skills, you will help guide architectural decisions, drive continuous improvement, and ensure front-end components operate effectively within enterprise-grade systems. Required For This Opportunity โ€ข Must have an active Top-Secret clearance and be eligible for SCI. โ€ข 8+ years of experience developing modern frontend applications using React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js โ€ข Advanced experience building UI components with HTML, CSS, Sass, and responsive design frameworks โ€ข Strong experience integrating with REST APIs and working with JSON and XML data formats โ€ข Proficiency with Git and GitLab for source control, collaboration, and code review workflows โ€ข Ability to design, refactor, and maintain scalable frontend architectures in cloud environments (AWS preferred) โ€ข Deep understanding of frontend performance optimization, browser behavior, debugging techniques, and application profiling โ€ข Demonstrated ability to mentor developers and lead best-practice discussions across the engineering team โ€ข Experience building cloud-native solutions in AWS โ€ข Experience with YAML and CI/CD pipeline development (GitLab CI preferred) โ€ข Experience with package scan vulnerability remediation โ€ข Experience with integration with .NET APIs or full stack environments Nice to Have Skills โ€ข Experience with automated UI testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress) โ€ข Familiarity with accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG) โ€ข Familiarity with JFrog Artifactory โ€ข Familiarity with Jira for DevOps At AIS, we are committed to offering competitive and fair compensation that reflects the skills, experience, and contributions of each team member. The targeted base salary range for this role is $117,000-$177,000 per year. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location.
