Program Overview About The Role

Peraton is seeking a Software Engineer to join our APIMS software development team in Clearfield, UT. This role supports the development and maintenance of APIMS, an enterprise web application used worldwide across more than 200 Department of Defense installations.

You will work alongside a highly experienced team of engineers and have the opportunity to grow your skills through handsโ€‘on development and mentorship in a collaborative environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Java-based web applications
  • Collaborate with a team of 10โ€“12 engineers in an Agile environment
  • Participate in peer code reviews, integration testing, and quality assurance
  • Contribute to database modeling and design
  • Support user interface design efforts
  • Collaborate with requirements analysts and subject matter experts
Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
  • 0 years with BS/BA; 4 years no degree
  • Proficiency in:
    • Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
    • SQL and Oracle PL/SQL
  • Experience developing Java web applications
  • Experience with database design and modeling
  • Must be a US Citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Agile development
  • Experience working in CMMI and/or ISO 9001 environments
  • Experience designing data structures and user interfaces
  • Familiarity with technologies such as:

Target Salary Range: $51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individualโ€™s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
