The B2B Finance Operations team supports the accurate and efficient movement of partner-related financial transactions across our marketplace. This role sits within the Financial Operations job family, which supports transactional commission payments, partner payment operations, and the resolution of financial transaction and system issues across teams and lines of business.

Make an Impact

As a Senior Financial Operations Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring our B2B partner commission payment operations run smoothly, accurately, and at scale. You will work across internal teams and external partners to resolve complex payment issues, improve operational processes, and strengthen financial controls in support of a fast-moving global business.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and optimize day-to-day B2B finance operations activities related to partner payments and transaction processing

  • Investigate and resolve complex payment, reconciliation, and settlement issues across systems, teams, and external partners

  • Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, root causes, control gaps, and improvement opportunities

  • Partner with stakeholders across Accounting, Finance, Partner Operations, Product, Technology, and commercial teams to improve processes and reduce friction in the partner payment experience

  • Contribute to process documentation, automation opportunities, and continuous improvement initiatives that improve scale, quality, and partner experience

Experience and qualifications:

  • You have 5+ years of experience in finance operations or accounting

  • You have experience working with high-volume transactional processes, journal entries, reconciliations, exception management, and issue resolution

  • You have experience with general ledger accounting and SOX compliance

  • You have strong analytical skills and are comfortable using data to investigate issues, identify patterns, and recommend practical solutions

  • You communicate clearly and effectively with both internal stakeholders and external partners, including when managing escalations

  • You are highly organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • You have experience improving operational processes, strengthening controls, and helping teams work more efficiently

  • You have a bachelor's degree in Accounting (preferred) or Finance

Preferred qualifications:

  • Prior Public Accounting experience

  • You have experience supporting B2B partner payment operations in a travel, marketplace, ecommerce, or global payments environment

  • You have experience working with financial systems, reporting tools, or large transactional datasets

  • You are comfortable working across global teams and navigating ambiguity while maintaining strong judgment and accountability

  • You have experience participating in cross-functional projects involving operational change, systems enhancement, or automation

What makes this opportunity exciting

This role offers the chance to work at the intersection of finance operations, partner experience, and global travel commerce. You will help power the financial operations behind Expedia Group's B2B marketplace while influencing how we scale partner payments, solve operational challenges, and deliver a better experience for our partners around the world.

The total cash range for this position in Springfield is $66,000.00 to $92,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $105,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
