Job description

Who We Are: The Tactical Aerospace Department is a premier supplier for aerospace quality complex electronic systems on new and legacy DoW systems. This includes avionics, ground systems, and cutting edge third generation AI/ML. This position is on-site in either our San Antonio, Tx or Dayton, OH (Beavercreek, OH) facility.

Objectives of this Role: Provide engineering oversight for complex embedded system designs. Perform Electrical Power Supply and Analog design, development and test activities. Provide subject matter expertise in power supply and analog circuit design.

Develop schematics, PCBA bring up, test, and troubleshoot for embedded systems. Support digital circuit designs and integration of firmware and software. Daily and Monthly Responsibilities: Lead hardware designs to ensure all hardware/system requirements are met.

Serves as analog and power supply circuit SME. Verifies all architectural requirements are satisfied. Leads/mentors junior engineering staff in the development of hardware/analog designs that satisfy approved architecture for system.

Leads Junior Engineering staff in the development and testing of embedded avionics hardware on MIL-SPEC flight-worthy hardware. Travel to customer sites to support final integration testing in customer System Integration Labs and/or Fielded System/Aircraft. Requirements: Requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.

Masters degree in Electrical Engineering preferred. 8 years: Embedded hardware design and test of avionics grade power supplies and analog circuits. Leading hardware design and development teams for embedded systems.

A valid/clear driver's license is required.
