Job description

Electrical Engineer

Houston, TX (basically where the Sam Houston Tollway and Westpark Tollway intersect)  

Direct Hire/ Permanent Placement

$90k – $150k, Hybrid, Bonuses, Full benefits (med, dent, vision), 401k match

THE CLIENT

This particular client is a mid-sized (200-500 ppl, 7+ offices) firm who work on large-scale, complex building systems in healthcare, hospitality, retail/ restaurant, industrial, multi-unit residential, hi-rise, and commercial offices.


ROLE/ RESPONSIBILITIES

• Electrical design of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm in accordance with NEC codes and standards

• Electrical equipment calcs, selection, and layout of switchgear, transformers, electrical panels and emergency generators

• Design recommendations, decisions, planning, delegating, reviewing, and QC of work from junior staff

• Project Management and client/ site visits


REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or similar

• REVIT, AutoCAD

• 5+ years of commercial experience for an AEC/ MEP firm

• EIT or PE preferred
