Position Overview:
As our Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will have hands-on learning and exposure to a professional work environment in the field of electromechanics. Candidates should be students who are pursuing a Bachelor's degree, preferably in their sophomore or junior year of studies in Mechanical Engineering. The position is full-time. Experience with 3D CAD software is desirable. Candidates should be approachable, motivated, and should have good listening, writing, and verbal communication skills.
Location:
On-site in Euclid, Ohio
Your Day to Day as a Mechanical Engineering Intern:
  • Review and modification of tooling and fixture drawings using Pro-E CAD software.
  • New tooling and fixture design.
  • Process improvement projects, including updating work procedures and implementing new tooling and equipment.
  • Investigation and resolution of issues in the plant, including part rework operations.
  • Other engineering tasks and responsibilities as required.

Required Qualifications:
  • Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Knowledge and understanding of stress analysis.
  • Basic familiarity with engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing.
  • Strong verbal and technical writing skills.
  • Experience with Pro/E Creo CAD software preferred.

Pay: $25.05 - $29.83
The base salary range for this position in Ohio (US-OH) at the start of employment is expected to be between $25.05 and $29.83 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,' unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement. The company further reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and other market factors.
