Relocation assistance is available for highly qualified candidates.Key Responsibilities:* As a senior technical advisor for water treatment process, provide expert guidance on all aspects* Perform and review analyses, prepare drawings, and write and review specifications* Responsible for preparing work product* Prepare and review scope and budgets for proposals* Oversee construction projects as Client representative* Build and maintain strong client relationships* Lead, mentor, and grow the water treatment teamMinimum Qualifications:* B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering with an emphasis to the design of water/wastewater treatment systems* Colorado P.E. license is required; P.E. in other southwestern states is a plus* 10+ years of experience in process design, construction and operations* Cost estimation, scheduling, subcontractor management* Independent project management* Manage and mentor junior staffPreferred Qualifications:* M.S. in Chemical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering* 40-hour HAZWOPER certification* 40-hour MSHA certification* Experience with treatment plant operationsTechnical Skills and abilities:* Engineering design, including process, mechanical, piping, and pumping systems* Operational and oversight experience* Construction management/oversight* Cost estimating* Preparation of procurement and construction specifications* Scheduling and subcontractor managementInterpersonal skills:* Nimble learner and adapts well to change* Emotional intelligence* Maintains confidentiality* Active listening skills### Why Join MacKay?A people-first culture At MacKay, we put people first. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as various market and business considerations.*US Pay Range$130,000—$155,000 USDFull-time employees receive a well-rounded benefit package including access to our company-sponsored Medical (including an HSA High Deductible option), Dental, Vision, FSA, and Supplemental Life Insurance plans. We also offer 100% company-paid Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability coverage. Employees are eligible to participate in our company's 401(k) plan with up to a 4% match. Additionally, employees receive paid vacation and sick time, 11 paid holidays, and are able to participate in employee ownership options. MacKay pays for expenses associated with licensure as well as annual performance bonuses.Employment requires passing a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
