As a Software Engineer at AFS, you will be a key part of a collaborative team dedicated to building and improving cutting-edge software solutions. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of meaningful projects in a fast-paced and supportive environment. 

What You'll Do:  

  • Design, build, and maintain a variety of software systems, from large-scale data platforms to real-time analytics
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to transform ideas into new features and user-friendly designs
  • Write, test, and debug clean, efficient code to ensure our systems are reliable and performant
  • Solve interesting problems by developing and implementing robust algorithms
  • Work with a team to test software, create documentation, and ensure everything we build meets the highest standards

What you'll need:

  • 0-2 years of experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++, JavaScript).
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
    • Four (4) years of relevant experience can substitute for a degree.

  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as ElasticSearch or MongoDB
  • Experience with AWS services and cloud-based application development
  • Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
  • Experience with cloud development technologies
