Overview

The Junior Data Engineer supports the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and data infrastructure. This role focuses on building reliable, scalable data solutions that enable analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines (ETL/ELT)

  • Support data ingestion from internal and external sources

  • Help clean, transform, and validate data for analytics use

  • Monitor data jobs and troubleshoot data pipeline issues

  • Maintain data models, schemas, and documentation

  • Partner with data analysts and stakeholders to understand data needs

  • Support data quality, reliability, and governance initiatives

  • Follow best practices for version control, testing, and deployment

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Experience with SQL and relational databases

  • Familiarity with at least one programming language (Python preferred)
