Job Summary:
Raft is a customer-obsessed non-traditional defense tech company dedicated to empowering U.S. military and government agencies with cutting-edge AI/ML and data solutions. The Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for architecting, planning, configuring, deploying, maintaining, and upgrading security toolsets to secure cybersecurity approvals for DoD Risk Management Framework.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Design, test, and implement secure operating systems, networks, security monitoring, tuning and management of IT security systems and applications, incident response, digital forensics, loss prevention, and eDiscovery actions
โ€ข Security control design and solution planning at the system, mission, and enterprise level, security-in-depth/defense-in-depth, and other related IAM/ISSO/ISSE support functions
โ€ข Involved in a wide range of security issues including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข U.S. citizenship to be eligible for employment
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree with 14+ years of related experience, or Masterโ€™s degree with 12+ years, or PhD with 9+ years
โ€ข Experience with cloud-native cybersecurity (i.e. Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure)
โ€ข Experience with cyber capabilities
โ€ข TS clearance with SCI eligibility
โ€ข Applicable security training and certificates
โ€ข Cyberspace operations tactics
โ€ข Crisis action planning
โ€ข Analytical methodologies
โ€ข Active Top Secret with SCI clearance
