To thrive as a Junior Computer Programmer, you need a solid understanding of programming languages (such as Python, Java, or C++), basic algorithms, and a relevant degree or certification in computer science or a related field. Familiarity with integrated development environments (IDEs), version control systems like Git, and debugging tools is typically expected. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and willingness to learn help junior programmers stand out.
