Senior Mechanical Engineer / Structural Engineer

Infinite Technologies RCS, Inc. is a rapidly expanding company offering many growth opportunities in the Engineering, Manufacturing, and Technology fields. We have an immediate opening for a Senior Mechanical Engineer / Structural Engineer at our Reno, NV office. 


Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will lead complex mechanical product development projects, ensuring the design, analysis, and manufacturing processes align with industry standards and project goals. Your expertise will drive the creation of high-quality mechanical systems and components, contributing to cutting-edge solutions across diverse industries. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects that demand technical excellence, creative problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Perform finite element analysis (FEA), structural evaluations, and other engineering simulations as required using ANSYS
  • Design engineering including mechanical, structural and electrical.
  • Mentoring of Jr. engineers.
  • Manufacturing engineering, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner.
  • Coordinating with others to develop improvements in production quality, and cost reductions.
  • Diagnosing problems in production and providing recommendations and training.
  • Recommending any materials and equipment required to improve productivity, efficiency or quality.

Qualifications

  • BS ME with a minimum of 10 yrs experience in Manufacturing engineering
  • Min 5 years’ experience with ANSYS FEA / CFD analysis software
  • Min 5 years’ experience with Catia CAD software.
  • Experience with developing manufacturing aids, jigs, fixtures, process instructions
  • Familiar with ISO 9000 or other QMS practices.
  • Superb analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
