Job Title Electrical Engineering Designer - APG Job Locations (Onsite Required) Overland Park, KS Ann Arbor, MI Houston, TX Phoenix, AZ Raleigh, NC Chattanooga, TN Chicago, IL Jacksonville, FL Gaithersburg, MD Role Summary Support Advanced Power Generation (APG) infrastructure projects. Develop and modify 2D/3D electrical engineering drawings. Work with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams. Use Bentley MicroStation and other Bentley design tools. Create high-quality engineering deliverables for power generation facilities. Key Responsibilities Develop and modify technical engineering drawings and documentation. Create 2D/3D CAD and BIM models. Perform electrical design calculations. Design duct banks, cable trays, grounding, and lighting systems. Prepare material quantity take-offs and estimates. Review design inputs for consistency and code compliance. Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams. Review technical deliverables produced by others. Support field activities when required. Maintain project schedules and assigned work. Follow engineering standards, codes, and company procedures. Provide technical guidance to junior designers and technicians. Stay updated on new engineering technologies and processes. Required Qualifications Diploma or Certificate in Engineering Design or related field. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
