Job description

We are Lennar
Lennar is one of the nation's leading homebuilders, dedicated to making an impact and creating an extraordinary experience for their Homeowners, Communities, and Associates by building quality homes and providing exceptional customer service, giving back to the communities in which we work and live in, and fostering a culture of opportunity and growth for our Associates throughout their career. Lennar has been recognized as a Fortune 500® company and consistently ranked among the top homebuilders in the United States.
Join a Company that Empowers you to Build your Future
We are looking for a mid-level Software Engineer to join a domain product team that designs and delivers full-stack business applications and ServiceNow solutions. Our product teams own their services from design through production and operate in a self-service model, consuming capabilities from central platform teams - golden-path IDP templates, shared CI/CD pipelines, and reusable infrastructure modules. You'll own well-scoped projects end-to-end and be expected to self-enable using this platform tooling rather than waiting on hand-offs.
Your Responsibilities on the Team
  • Design, build, and ship full-stack features using TypeScript/React on the front end and Go on the backend.
  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications, integrations, and workflows that support your product domain.
  • Scaffold and provision new services using IDP templates (e.g., Backstage golden paths) and platform-provided self-service capabilities.
  • Build and maintain your team's CI/CD workflows on shared pipeline foundations (GitHub Actions or similar).
  • Provision and manage your product's infrastructure using platform-provided Terraform modules and IaC practices.
  • Design and build agentic and AI product capabilities - AI agents, MCP servers, and LLM-powered features - ideally leveraging AWS Bedrock.
  • Provide constructive code reviews and help mentor junior engineers.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2-5 years of professional software development experience.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and React, with a track record of shipping production front-end code.
  • Professional experience with a compiled backend language; Go strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs, relational databases, and distributed systems fundamentals.
  • Comfort operating in a DevOps/self-service model: you build it, you run it.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently on defined projects.

Preferred Qualifications
  • ServiceNow development experience (scripting, Flow Designer, integrations) - highly preferred.
  • Hands-on CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions or similar - highly preferred.
  • Hands-on infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or similar - highly preferred.
  • Experience working with internal developer portals such as Backstage (consuming templates, service catalogs, golden paths).
  • Experience building agentic or AI workloads (AI agents, MCP servers, LLM integrations); experience with AWS Bedrock is a significant plus.

Life at Lennar
At Lennar, we are committed to fostering a supportive and enriching environment for our Associates, offering a comprehensive array of benefits designed to enhance their well-being and professional growth. Our Associates have access to robust health insurance plans, including Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage, ensuring their health needs are well taken care of. Our 401(k) Retirement Plan, complete with a $1 for $1 Company Match up to 5%, helps secure their financial future, while Paid Parental Leave and an Associate Assistance Plan provide essential support during life's critical moments. To further support our Associates, we provide an Education Assistance Program and up to $30,000 in Adoption Assistance, underscoring our commitment to their diverse needs and aspirations. From the moment of hire, they can enjoy up to three weeks of vacation annually, alongside generous Holiday, Sick Leave, and Personal Day policies. Additionally, we offer a New Hire Referral Bonus Program, significant Home Purchase Discounts, and unique opportunities such as the Everyone's Included Day. At Lennar, we believe in investing in our Associates, empowering them to thrive both personally and professionally.
