Job Title: Senior Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Wilmington, MA โ€“ Hybrid (2โ€“3 Days/Week Onsite)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join a Cloud & Platform Engineering team. This role is focused heavily on Azure cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure-as-Code, Terraform, automation, and platform enablement.

The ideal candidate will work closely with application development teams to design, build, automate, and support secure, scalable Azure infrastructure for enterprise applications and emerging AI workloads.

Required Skills

  • 11โ€“12+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure
  • Advanced Terraform experience โ€“ MUST HAVE
  • Experience with Bicep and/or ARM
  • Strong Azure infrastructure and cloud architecture knowledge
  • Azure DevOps and GitHub CI/CD pipelines
  • AKS and containerized workloads
  • Azure networking, security, identity, and governance
  • Strong scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or Python
  • Chef, Ansible, or similar configuration management tools
  • Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in distributed cloud environments

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, deploy, and manage Azure resources using Terraform, Bicep, and ARM.
  • Develop reusable Terraform modules and infrastructure patterns for application teams.
  • Support Azure compute, networking, storage, identity, security, and governance services.
  • Deploy and maintain AKS, container registries, and containerized applications.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
  • Automate build, testing, release, and deployment processes.
  • Implement security scanning, quality gates, and artifact management.
  • Automate provisioning, configuration, and compliance using Chef or similar tools.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, metrics, dashboards, and alerting using Azure-native tools.
  • Partner closely with Application Development, Cloud Architecture, Platform Engineering, and Security teams.
  • Enable development teams by delivering reliable and scalable cloud infrastructure.
  • Participate in on-call support and resolve critical infrastructure issues.
  • Continuously improve cloud automation, infrastructure standards, and DevOps processes.
