What is a junior associate attorney?

A Junior Associate Attorney is an entry-level lawyer who works at a law firm or legal department, typically assisting more senior attorneys with research, drafting legal documents, attending court proceedings, and supporting case preparation. They are recent law school graduates or attorneys with limited experience who are building their legal skills and knowledge under the supervision of more experienced lawyers. Junior associates often work long hours and are expected to learn quickly while contributing to the firm's workload.

Junior Associate Attorneys often start by assisting senior attorneys with case research, drafting legal documents, and preparing for depositions or court hearings.
