The annual compensation range for this position is stated below. The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range: $77,400.00 - $116,000.00 Purpose Statement: The Sr Tax Analyst is responsible for income tax compliance and reporting on a global basis for a rapidly growing multinational publicly traded company

This includes tax related issues such as preparation, planning and research as well as communicating with U.S. and non-U.S. finance teams

Will have more involvement in strategic tax planning, managing complex issues, and providing guidance to junior team members. Key Job Accountabilities: Serve as a subject matter expert for various tax issues in communications with the business sites. Assist in developing innovative and creative solutions that will help to resolve or minimize potential tax risk for our business sites.

Be fully conversant and intimate with the Plexus business model and be proactive in offering tax advice for our business partners. Assist in completing the quarterly and annual effective tax rate calculations. This includes a review of all tax accounts maintained by the tax department.

Assist in preparing and reviewing the quarterly and annual disclosures of tax information found in the financial statements, the 10Q's and 10K footnotes and other disclosures. Responsible for supporting tax management with maintaining the tax accounts. This includes reviewing and maintaining schedules used to support the quarterly financial statements and tax footnotes and reviewing deferred tax computations.

Responsible for the timely completion of Plexus' tax filing obligations as assigned (such as indirect and or excise taxes). This position is also expected to provide significant support in completing Plexus' annual federal and local income tax filing requirements (as applicable) as well as any estimated payments that may be required. The compliance function may also require an annual tax return review with management, the local controller and/or third party service provider prior to filing with the local taxing authority.

Assist in researching and documenting tax planning opportunities. This will include creating schedules and communicating with other individuals within the finance organization and creating schedules supporting the planning initiatives. Assist in the completion of tax reviews/audits by taxing authorities.

Tax programs include income, transaction and miscellaneous tax filings completed by the tax department. The audit process may include researching tax technical issues, understanding the underlying business process to determine the tax exposure, interacting with the auditor and writing formal letters of protest. Education/Experience Qualifications: 3 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree.

Five (5) or more years of related experience and/or a Masters degree is preferred. A CPA designation (or equivalent) is preferred, but not required. An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.

Other Qualifications: The employee must be self-motivated with the ability to follow through on assignments with little or no supervision. The individual must possess the ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, research, analytical and organizational skills are paramount for the employee to successfully perform this position.

The individual must maintain objectivity and possess pro-active problem solving skills, along with the ability to make timely and effective recommendations to resolve problems as they arise. The employee must keep all department, company and customer information they encounter during their employment confidential.
