Job Title

Job Duties:

  • Demonstrates medical asepsis by following established isolation standards and hand hygiene
  • Cleans and stores equipment to prevent spread of microorganisms
  • Assists RN with patient positioning/repositioning to promote comfort and decrease skin breakdown
  • Maintains a clean environment in patient rooms (linen changes, tidy bedside tables)
  • Assist patients with personal care needs (baths oral care, and nourishment)
  • Obtains documents and reports vital signs, blood glucose monitoring, and height/weight at the point of care accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Performs Hourly Rounding with use of AIDET/5Ps/Words that Work

Requirements:

  • CNA Certificate
  • BLS (AHA)
  • LTC Experience
