Desert Pines is southern Nevada's only full-service primary care, referral and emergency equine hospital. We provide sports medicine, surgery, internal medicine, reproduction, preventive care, ambulatory, emergency and critical care services. Our seven-doctor practice includes a surgeon, an internist, and excellent support staff. We service a thriving equine community beyond the glow of the neon lights of Las Vegas. We have a diverse horse population from the western performance horse to premier show jumping and dressage. Desert Pines is the Preferred Provider at the South Point Equestrian Center, who plays host to events 40 weeks out of the year. The practice has served as the official veterinarians for the National Finals Rodeo since 1985, as well as at major events including the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup and the Las Vegas National Horse Show.
Our hospital includes two large exam/treatment rooms, ICU stalls, a hospitalization barn, and a surgical suite. We are well-supported with a full range of diagnostics and imaging equipment. Expansion is on the horizon at Desert Pines. Our new hospital will include two additional surgical suites, a large climate-controlled barn and advanced imaging to include nuclear scintigraphy. Come join us as we expand and move in on the growth opportunity ahead with the new hospital.
