Full-time, Temporary
Description
As a Garden Lights Install Team Member, you'll help transform the Atlanta Botanical Garden into one of the country's most-acclaimed holiday lights events. You will help install and maintain Christmas lights throughout the garden. You will install lights onto trees, bushes, shrubs and other surfaces from the ground or while standing on ladders and in lifts. We're looking for diligent workers with a keen attention to detail who take pride in their work.
This is a Full-Time Temporary Position starting in July through November.
Key Responsibilities
  • Install string lights on trees, shrubs, and hedges
  • Install and/or add lighting to various holiday decorative elements throughout the garden
  • Adhere to strict design and quality control guidelines to ensure a beautiful and successful exhibit
  • Work on special projects as assigned

Requirements
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn how to operate high reach electrical lift equipment a bonus
  • Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather
  • Must work safely following specific safety guidelines
  • Night and/or weekend/holiday hours required
  • Be comfortable working with a team

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to work standing for long periods of time
  • Exposure to all types of weather may be necessary during installation
  • Ability to climb ladders, kneel, crouch and reach with hands and arms in any direction
  • Ability to move heavy objects and use basic tools
  • Must be comfortable working at heights up to 60 ft
