Assists Store management in achieving all store sales and customer service goals. Ensures all elements of The Juilliard Store are aligned with The Juilliard School brand.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates in-person sales and curbside pick-up orders with local customers
  • Assists customers in person, over the phone, via email, and through online chat
  • Enters customer orders and processes payments
  • Works with Store management to fill and ship online orders
  • Assists in stocking the sales floor and with stockroom maintenance
  • Assists in maintaining cleanliness of store
  • Assists with physical inventory count

Minimum Requirements:
  • High school graduate
  • Retail store and POS experience, preferably in a college bookstore or specialty store with a variety of merchandise types
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Reliable, professional and highly motivated individual willing to play a role within a team focused environment
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (pounds)

Preferred Background:
  • Flare for creative product presentation and overall awareness of trends in market place
  • Strong interest in the performing arts, especially in the New York City area
  • College degree in Music, Music Performance or related field

Salary: $17.00 per hour.
