Job Summary:

The Support Staff IV is responsible for answering phones, appointment scheduling, daily data entry, collection of payments, documentation and training tracking, ordering supplies and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of Support Staff Level IV is to perform billing, data tracking and clerical duties, including:

  1. Completes daily service scheduling and manages absence phone line
  2. Enter daily service data and upload documentation in the electronic health record .
  3. Answers phones and manages site front desk for check in/check out.
  4. Oversees case file documentation contractor and staff training compliance.
  5. Ordering supplies.
  6. Participating in required trainings.
  7. Assist other program sites as assigned.
  8. Performing other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  1. Ability to develop and maintain data tracking systems (e.g. Excel spreadsheets).
  2. Good writing skills, including the ability to draft letters and other correspondence.
  3. The ability to generate timely and accurate billing for program services rendered.
  4. Excellent computer skills, including but not limited to Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  5. Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  6. Experience with an Autism Program preferred.

Education, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

1. High school diploma or GED required.

2. Valid Michigan Driver’s License or State ID

Working Conditions:

  1. Generally working in an office environment with a cubicle or reception area workstation.
  2. Ability to travel and attend meetings at various locations may be required.
  3. Some non-traditional hours such as evenings may be required.
