We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Taekwondo (Head) Instructor to lead our martial arts program with energy, expertise, and a commitment to excellence. In this role, you will be responsible for designing engaging training sessions, mentoring students of all ages, and fostering a positive environment that promotes discipline, confidence, and personal growth. Your leadership will inspire students to achieve their martial arts goals while ensuring safety and proper technique are maintained at all times. Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive Taekwondo training programs tailored to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners
  • Lead engaging classes that emphasize proper technique, discipline, and respect while maintaining high energy and motivation
  • Mentor students on their progress, providing constructive feedback and celebrating achievements to foster confidence
  • Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed during all training sessions and competitions
  • Collaborate with other sports coaches and instructors to integrate martial arts principles into broader physical education initiatives
  • Manage class schedules, student attendance records, and progress tracking to support continuous development
  • Promote a positive environment that encourages teamwork, good behavior, and personal responsibility among students



Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Taekwondo instructor or head coach with demonstrated leadership skills in martial arts training
  • Strong background in martial arts disciplines such as Karate, Judo, or Climbing is highly desirable
  • Prior experience working with children and adolescents in sports coaching or teaching roles
  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques to maintain discipline and focus during classes
  • Certifications in Taekwondo or related martial arts; additional certifications in teaching physical education or coaching are advantageous
  • Lifeguard experience or familiarity with swimming, cheerleading, basketball, or other sports is a plus for versatile program development
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of students and foster a supportive learning environment
