O&G Industries -Application Developer – Torrington

O&G Industries, Inc., an innovative and diversified construction company based in Torrington, CT seeks an Application Developer to join our team.

The Application Developer reports to the Development Manager and will work cross‑functionally with development, infrastructure, leadership, and subject matter experts to deliver scalable, data‑driven applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications (primarily in C#).
  • Translate business requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions.
  • Build and maintain integrations across applications, databases, and analytics platforms.
  • Support BI and data‑driven functionality, including reporting and analytics use cases.
  • Leverage AI tools/technologies where appropriate to improve development and insights.
  • Troubleshoot performance, application, and integration issues; implement long‑term fixes.
  • Participate in full SDLC: requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Document architecture, processes, and technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with data/BI teams to support analytics initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with APIs (REST), JSON/XML, and tools like Postman/Swagger.
  • Database knowledge: SQL, Oracle, Snowflake, or NoSQL.
