Turn your diagnostic know‑how into impact at NFI

Picture your shift: you pick up a work order, fire up JPRO and OEM diagnostic software, trace an electrical fault with your multimeter, and get a tractor back in service—safe, compliant, and ready to roll. In our collaborative, well-equipped shop, you’ll keep a dedicated commercial fleet performing at its peak while building your skills and career.

What your day looks like
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues on tractors and trailers using JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows-based tools
  • Perform preventive maintenance across a dedicated fleet of tractors and trailers
  • Complete DOT inspections in line with FMCSA guidelines
  • Work safely with the physical ability to lift/pull 75 lbs or more, stand or lie for extended periods, and reach equipment as needed

What you bring
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Preferred ability to obtain a Class B license
  • Technical or advanced degree, or 2+ years of equivalent maintenance experience
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting with JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows
  • Proven problem-solving ability
  • Teamwork and customer service mindset with solid oral and written communication
  • On-site evaluation with recommended training
