POSITION OVERVIEW

José Andrés Group is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and results-driven Senior Event Sales Manager to lead

event sales efforts across our dynamic portfolio of restaurants and event spaces.

The Senior Event Sales Manager will be responsible for generating revenue through the sale and execution of private

The ideal candidate is a proactive sales professional with strong industry relationships, exceptional communication skills,

and a proven ability to meet and exceed revenue goals. This individual should be comfortable managing high-value

accounts, developing new business, and collaborating closely with restaurant operations, culinary teams, marketing, and

other internal partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

? Drive event sales revenue across assigned restaurants, private dining rooms, and event spaces.

? Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through outreach, networking, referrals,

partnerships, and industry events.

? Manage incoming event inquiries and respond promptly with customized proposals, menus, pricing, and venue

recommendations.

? Conduct site visits and present event spaces, culinary offerings, and service capabilities to prospective clients.

? Consistently meet or exceed individual and departmental sales goals, booking targets, and revenue

expectations.

? Identify opportunities to increase revenue through menu enhancements, beverage packages, audiovisual

services, décor, entertainment, and other event upgrades.

? Maintain an active pipeline of prospective and confirmed business and provide accurate revenue forecasts.

Client and Account Management

? Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, destination management companies,

hotels, luxury concierge teams, nonprofit organizations, and social event clients.

? Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales and planning process.

? Create personalized event experiences that reflect each client’s vision, budget, and objectives.

? Manage high-profile, VIP, and complex events with professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.

? Conduct post-event follow-up to gather feedback, strengthen client relationships, and generate repeat business.

? Maintain accurate client profiles, event histories, preferences, and communication records within the company’s

sales and event management systems.

Event Planning and Execution

? Coordinate all event details, including menus, beverage selections, floor plans, timelines, guest counts, rental

needs, audiovisual requirements, entertainment, and special requests.

? Prepare and distribute accurate contracts, banquet event orders, event summaries, deposits, payment

schedules, and final billing information.

? Communicate event details clearly and efficiently to restaurant leadership, culinary teams, service teams,

finance, and other internal stakeholders.

? Lead event detail meetings and ensure operational teams have the information necessary to execute each event

successfully.

? Attend key events as needed to support the client, facilitate communication, and ensure a seamless guest

experience.

? Resolve client concerns and last-minute changes with urgency, creativity, and professionalism.

Business Development and Market Presence

? Build awareness of José Andrés Group’s event offerings within the local and regional market.

? Represent the company at networking events, industry showcases, trade events, tastings, and community

functions.

? Develop strategic partnerships with hotels, venues, event professionals, local businesses, and community

organizations.

? Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop sales collateral, promotional campaigns, digital content, and

event-focused initiatives.

? Monitor competitor activity, market trends, pricing, and client preferences to identify new opportunities.

? Maintain a strong understanding of the company’s restaurant concepts, menus, service standards, event spaces,

and brand identity.

Leadership and Collaboration

? Serve as a senior resource and mentor to Event Sales Coordinator, and other members of the sales team.

? Support onboarding and training related to sales standards, systems, event processes, and client

communication.

? Partner with restaurant General Managers, Chefs, and operational leaders to align event sales strategies with

venue capabilities.

? Support the Director of Event Sales with strategic projects, reporting, account development, and departmental

initiatives.

? Promote a collaborative, accountable, and hospitality-driven team environment.
