Staff Software Engineer - AI Solutions

Poznań, Poland

Your responsibilities:​ 

  • Participate and/or lead strategic software solution design and development practices leader as well as a hands-on software engineer that can rapidly integrate with teams utilizing a variety of technologies and languages to solve complex challenges. 
  • Participate with Channel AI Engineering Leadership on the relevance and feasibility of proposed solution designs and work with cross-functional agile teams to plan, influence, align, develop, and deliver software solutions in alignment with those designs. 
  • Discuss and recommend technical developments to improve the quality of the used technology, such as systems, processes, infrastructure, installations and machines.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams to conceptualize products and services, leveraging data to drive original design ideas and decisions.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a roadmap to facilitate application software development and ensure the development work is prioritized in line with business requirements.
  • Deliver small- or medium-scale projects while working within an established program management plan.
  • Monitor, identify, and correct the most-complex software defects to maintain fully functioning applications software. 

Our requirements: 

  • Advanced and demonstrated technical knowledge and prior experience designing, developing, delivering, and maintaining software solutions across a wide breadth of technology competencies. 
  • Experience in software design patterns and architectural integration patterns.
  • Experience with solution implementations incorporating AI Tech Stack. 
  • Hands‑on experience rapidly adopting emerging AI and agentic patterns—and creatively translating them into real, scalable product capabilities.
  • Demonstrates awareness of emerging technologies, proactively staying current on industry trends and innovations to inform forward‑looking decisions.
  • Experience designing and delivering large-scale, performant, loosely coupled service-oriented architectures and solutions.
  • Full stack hand-on experience in in Python, JavaScript, React, etc. 

Nice to have:​ 

  • Expertise in AWS cloud technologies such as API Gateway, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, IAM, CloudWatch, and Route53. 
  • Expertise in implementing AI Agent based solutions as well as leveraging AI LLMs in everyday development practices.
  • Familiarity with John Deere dealer channel applications and related business processes, with the ability to connect technical solutions to dealer operational needs.
  • Experience building reusable and scalable platform capabilities.
