Barrister Title

Job description

Join a Team That Believes Everyone Should Be on Team Close the Deal.

You spend too much of your life at work to work somewhere you don't feel appreciated.
At Barrister Title, we're building something different.
We believe exceptional closings begin with exceptional people. We trust professionals instead of micromanaging them. We believe in solving problems, supporting one another, and creating an experience our clients—and our employees—look forward to.
When the office gets busy, everyone pitches in. You'll find leadership right there in the trenches alongside the team. We don't believe in saying, "That's not my job." Whether it's helping a teammate, answering a client's question, or solving a last-minute issue, we're all on Team Close the Deal.
And when the deal closes? We celebrate.
If you're an experienced title processor who enjoys taking ownership, staying organized, and keeping transactions moving, we'd love to meet you.

About the Role:
We're looking for an Experienced Title Processor who can confidently manage residential purchase and refinance files from opening through preparation for closing.

This is not an entry-level position.

Our ideal candidate understands the title process, communicates confidently with Realtors, lenders, attorneys, buyers, and sellers, and knows how to keep files moving without constant supervision.
When our closers are in the closing room, you're the experienced professional the office can rely on to answer questions, solve problems, and keep every transaction on track.

What You'll Do:
  • Process residential purchase and refinance transactions from opening through closing preparation.
  • Review title commitments and coordinate title clearance with examiners.
  • Order payoffs, HOA information, tax information, surveys, and other items needed to prepare files.
  • Prepare settlement statements, Closing Disclosures, CPLs, and closing packages.
  • Coordinate with lenders, Realtors, attorneys, buyers, and sellers throughout the transaction.
  • Monitor contract deadlines and proactively follow up on outstanding items.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally to keep everyone informed.
  • Work closely with closers, examiners, and support staff to ensure every file is ready for a smooth closing.
  • Anticipate potential issues and help resolve them before closing day.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Title Processor is required.
  • Strong understanding of residential purchase and refinance transactions.
  • Experience preparing settlement statements and closing packages.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
  • SoftPro experience is preferred.

You'll Thrive Here If You:
  • Take ownership instead of making excuses.
  • Think ahead and anticipate what's needed next.
  • Stay calm under pressure.
  • Return calls and emails promptly.
  • Enjoy helping teammates succeed.
  • Communicate proactively.
  • Believe every client deserves an exceptional experience.

Why Experienced Processors Choose Barrister Title:
Experienced professionals have choices. We're building the kind of workplace where talented people want to stay.

At Barrister Title you'll find:
  • Leadership that trusts professionals instead of micromanaging.
  • A supportive, team-first culture where everyone helps each other.
  • Beautiful, professional offices you'll be proud to work in.
  • Leadership that's accessible, optimistic, and willing to jump in wherever needed.
  • A company known for smooth closings, exceptional service, and lasting relationships.
  • A workplace where your experience, ideas, and contributions are genuinely appreciated.

About Barrister Title:
At Barrister Title, we're known for being responsive, helpful, and solution-oriented.
Our clients know they'll receive exceptional service. Our Realtor partners know we'll answer the phone, communicate honestly, and work together to get every transaction to the closing table whenever possible.
We believe everyone should be on Team Close the Deal.
That means helping each other, owning our responsibilities, solving problems, and celebrating every successful closing.

Benefits:
  • Competitive Pay.
  • Paid Time Off.
  • Health Insurance.
  • Dental Insurance.
  • Professional, collaborative work environment.
  • Opportunities for continued growth.

Ready to Join Our Team?
If you're looking for more than just another processing job—if you're looking for a company that values professionalism, teamwork, accountability, and creating exceptional client experiences—we'd love to meet you.

Apply today and experience the Barrister Difference.
