Compensation: Starting at $16.45 per hour based on education, experience, certification, and internal equity
Status: Non-Exempt

What You'll Do as a Clinic Scheduler
  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments efficiently, considering provider availability and appointment priorities.
  • Communicate clearly with patients, providers, and clinic staff to schedule, confirm, and update appointments.
  • Provide patients with appointment details, instructions, and follow-up information.
  • Maintain accurate appointment records using electronic scheduling and health record systems.
  • Update patient information and ensure scheduling data remains current and accurate.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize clinic schedules and patient flow.
  • Address patient inquiries related to scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations.
  • Conduct appointment reminder calls or messages and assist with rescheduling as needed.
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts promptly and communicate changes to all relevant parties.
  • Support clinic operations by assisting with additional administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience
  • Prior experience in appointment scheduling or a related administrative role preferred
Licensure & Certifications
  • Certification in healthcare administration or a related field preferred but not required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Proficiency with scheduling software and electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
