Employers set up booths or tables to share information about their companies and available positions, while job seekers can network, submit resumes, and sometimes participate in on-the-spot interviews. Job fairs are valuable for networking, learning about different organizations, and discovering new career paths. They are often organized by universities, recruitment agencies, or community organizations and can be targeted towards specific industries or open to the general public.

What should I expect in terms of networking and employer interaction at a job fair?

At a job fair, you can expect a dynamic environment where you'll interact directly with recruiters and hiring managers from various organizations. It's common to have brief, focused conversations where you can introduce yourself, ask questions about open positions, and share your resume. Networking is a central activity, and making a positive impression can lead to interview invitations or valuable professional connections.
