Board Member Responsibilities

Board members of The Murph Foundation are expected to:

  • Attend quarterly (virtual) board meetings and special sessions as needed
  • Serve as ambassadors for the organization, advocating for the mission and expanding our network
  • Participate in occasional committee meetings or strategic planning sessions
  • Contribute expertise in one or more of the following areas:
    • Fundraising: supporting campaigns, grant opportunities, and donor cultivation
    • Outreach: increasing visibility, engagement, and community partnerships
    • Donor Relations: fostering relationships with current and prospective supporters
    • Strategy: providing guidance on organizational growth, program planning, and impact assessment
    • Program Design: helping develop, evaluate, and improve programs for maximum effectiveness
  • Make an annual financial contribution according to individual capacity (board giving demonstrates commitment and encourages others to give)
