Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to support material handling and production operations in a manufacturing environment.
This role involves unloading shipments, staging materials, and supplying production areas to maintain efficient plant operations.
Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely.
Unload inbound freight and verify shipments.
Stage and organize materials in racks or storage areas.
Supply production work areas with materials.
Maintain organized storage and staging areas.
Perform basic forklift inspections and report maintenance issues.
Support inventory control
Qualifications:
2+ years forklift operating experience.
Forklift certification required
Manufacturing or industrial environment experience preferred.
Ability to read shipping documentation.
Strong attention to safety and teamwork.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to operate equipment for extended periods.
