Licensed Vocational Nurse/LVN
$43.66 Hourly rate
Shift Schedule: NOC Shift: 11 PM - 7:30 AM
PRN/On-Time [Minimum 6 shifts per month]

Nestled in San Francisco's Excelsior neighborhood on a nine-acre campus, the San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living (SFCJL) is a center of excellence in providing a continuum of care. This includes the Frank Residences, offering luxurious assisted living and memory care services; the Jewish Home and Rehabilitation Center, featuring long-term skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation, and an acute psychiatric unit specialized in mental healthcare for older adults over age 55; and the Jewish Home and Senior Living Foundation.
Grounded in the Jewish values of dignity, compassion, and community, the San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living, fondly referred to in the past as "the Jewish Home," was founded in 1871. Today, 150 years later, it continues to build upon its legacy of enriching the lives of older adults.
What you'll do as a Licensed Vocational Nurse:
Utilize your outstanding clinical skills as you support and implement the overall plan of care to promote wellness and safety to all patients on the assigned unit. You will be responsible for giving and directing comprehensive nursing care, assuming the role of charge nurse, and supervising the activities of nursing assistants.
  • Work with patients one on one to achieve improvement and stability
  • Case manage patients care with the interdisciplinary clinical team
  • Prepare clinical notes, orders and charting in a compliant time frame
  • Collaborate with Nurse Managers, RNs and staff to deliver the best care possible

For you to be a successful Licensed Vocational Nurse:
  • Current and unrestricted California LVN license
  • Current CPR certificate
  • Two years acute care or long-term care experience preferred
  • Ability to speak English clearly and write legibly
